PERMANENT MAKEUP APPOINTMENT POLICY

A non-refundable booking deposit is required to reserve your appointment. The booking deposit is applied to the booked service.
Appointments can be rescheduled if contacted at least 1 week in advance.
The approximate wait time for service by Master PMU Artist Makoto is 2 to 3 months.
Faster appointments are available for service by other PMU Artists and service by Makoto's Apprentice.
Initial appointments take 3 - 4 hours and includes consultation, design, and PMU installation.
Touch-up appointments are approximately 2 hours.
Masks must be worn at all times while within our property.

You must be off Accutane or any prescribed acne medications for 1 year.
Within 72 hours prior to any procedure, do not take Aspirin, Fish Oil, Niacin, Vitamin E, and/or Ibuprofen and substance known to be a blood-thinner, unless medically necessary. Tylenol is an allowed pain relief and fever-reducing medication.
Do not drink coffee, alcohol, or energizing drinks on the day before, the day of, and the day after the procedure. This will help minimize any oozing, bleeding, or swelling that could potentially occur after a procedure.
If you get your brows tinted regularly, no tinting for at least 1 week prior to a procedure. It is recommended to wait 30 days after a procedure before continuing eyebrow tinting services.
Do not tan or sunbathe for at least 30 days before and after a procedure.
If you get you have regular eyebrow hair removal, waxing, threading, or other hair removal, please do no receive these services within 72 hours before a procedure – 1 week recommended. It is recommended to wait at least 14 days after a procedure to continue waxing or treading.
Do not schedule any chemical peeling, microdermabrasion, mesotherapy, filler, Botox, or any other intense beauty treatment that promotes increased skin cell rejuvenation or may cause skin irritation for at least 4 weeks prior to a procedure.
Wash your hair well before a procedure. The procedure area must remain dry for a period of time. Being proactive will provide the most comfort during the healing process.
Eyelash extensions must be removed for at least 2 weeks prior to an eyeliner appointment.
For all Lip Blush permanent makeup appointments, we recommend taking Valtrex 1000mg before and after a procedure. Please discuss with your doctor as a prescription may be required. Alternatively, Abreva may be purchased at any drug store.

Always keep the procedure area dry and do not use any creams or moisturizers over the procedure area. However, lips require moisturization so you will be provided with an ointment before leaving any Lip Blush appointment.
Before showering or bathing, always apply a light coating of Vaseline over the procedure area to help bead off water to prevent tissue damage. Continue this preventive measure for at least 3 weeks. Coconut oil can be used as an alternative.
If a crusty substance appears over the procedure area, never attempt to pick or peel! Picking or peeling off any crust or scabbing will also remove pigment.
No sun, soap, sauna, jacuzzi, and swimming in both pools and ocean for at least 2 weeks after any procedure. This also applies to all touch-up visits.
To prevent infection, do not touch the procedure area with your fingers until the area is completely healed. Instead, use clean Q-tips to apply any required ointments.
Aftercare instructions must be followed very carefully to maintain successful results.
After the procedure area has healed, be careful to avoid using any cleansers that contain AHA’s over the procedure area. The use cleansers and scrubs containing AHA’s is not recommended.
DO NOT USE growth enhancement products such as Latisse, Reviabrow, Grande lash, for at least one month before and after the procedure area has healed completely as it may cause negative results.
